Turning strategy, technology, and organizational change into measurable performance.

You can't fix what you can't measure.

Tawengwa Advisors helps organizations understand what is happening, measure what matters, and turn insight into action.

I bring together leadership, technology, analytics, and organizational transformation to build stronger systems and make progress visible — always with people at the center.

Why Tawengwa Advisors

Organizations don't need more activity. They need to know what is working.

Strategy can look good on paper. Technology can be implemented. Programs can launch. Teams can work harder.

But without measurement, leadership is often left asking: Are we actually making progress?

Tawengwa Advisors connects the pieces — strategy, people, technology, data, and execution — so organizations can see what is happening, understand why, and make better decisions about what comes next.

Measure what matters.

I build the metrics, analytics, reporting, and governance that make organizational performance visible.

Connect insight to action.

Data is only useful when it changes a decision, improves an operation, or advances an outcome.

Build capability, not dependency.

My goal is not to become another layer of the organization. I leave leaders with stronger systems, clearer measures, and greater capacity to continue improving.

Systems only matter if they serve people.

Core Competencies

Where strategy, data, and delivery meet.

A closer look at the frameworks and methods I bring to each engagement.

Leadership Transition Measurement & Analytics

  • Leadership Transition Frameworks: Engineering data-driven onboarding milestones and 30-60-90 day performance benchmarks for incoming executives.
  • Transition Risk Scoring: Designing leading indicators to detect leadership integration friction, cultural misalignment, and operational drag early.
  • Stakeholder Sentiment Analytics: Implementing structured feedback loops and alignment metrics to quantify trust-building between new leaders and core teams.
  • Operational Continuity Tracking: Establishing baseline KPIs to guarantee zero disruption to core delivery pipelines during executive successions.

Grant-to-Performance & Impact Measurement

  • Impact Measurement Architecture: Translating grant objectives into clear KPIs, outcomes, milestones, and measurement systems that leadership teams can use—not just report.
  • Funder-Aligned Performance Frameworks: Connecting program, operational, and financial measures to funder requirements so organizations can demonstrate progress with credible, auditable evidence.
  • Benefits Realization: Tracking whether philanthropic investments are producing the intended programmatic, organizational, and community outcomes.
  • Data-to-Narrative Reporting: Turning fragmented program and operational data into concise, evidence-based reporting for funders, boards, executives, and stakeholders.
  • Grant Portfolio Performance: Establishing dashboards and governance routines that allow leadership to monitor multiple funded initiatives, identify risk, and intervene early.
  • Continuous Improvement: Using grant performance data to strengthen delivery, refine strategy, and build the evidence base for renewed or expanded funding.

Performance & Analytics Architecture

  • OKR & KPI Engineering: Designing balanced measurement frameworks that bridge high-level strategy with daily operations.
  • Benefits Realization Management (BRM): Quantifying the financial and operational return on technology investments.
  • Data Culture Analytics: Fusing data literacy with user adoption so teams use metrics to drive decision-making.

Transformation & Program Delivery

  • Strategic Portfolio Management: Leading high-stakes, multi-million dollar technology and enterprise transformation programs.
  • Agile Governance Frameworks: Building accountability and transparency tracking models for executive leadership.
  • Organizational Change Management (OCM): Structuring human-centric transition plans that reduce friction and accelerate adoption.

Enterprise Delivery & Change Leadership

  • Global Implementations: Leading enterprise SaaS and ERP rollouts from discovery through go-live and deep user adoption.
  • Data & Governance: Building KPI frameworks, business intelligence reporting, and governance routines for real-time executive visibility.
  • Change Leadership: Designing change management and communication strategies that ensure transformations actually stick, not just launch.

Sustainable Impact Strategy

  • ESG Performance Frameworks: Transforming sustainability goals into auditable, data-driven operational metrics.
  • Systemic Resilience Modeling: Designing business architectures capable of enduring organizational and market shifts.
  • Regulatory & ESG Compliance Architecture: Structuring data governance pipelines that ensure grant tracking strictly aligns with reporting standards and donor mandates.
About

I build the systems and lead the people that make complex organizational change actually work.

Over 20 years leading enterprise transformation programs across Fortune 500 companies, including Estée Lauder, Newell Brands, Coty, and Starwood Hotels, as well as mission-driven organizations in the social impact sector. My work sits at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and operational effectiveness.

The “Why” Behind My Work

My decision to scale Tawengwa Advisors is guided by a fundamental truth: systems only matter if they serve people.

My approach is shaped by my corporate background, where change management was at the core of every major implementation, but it is equally informed by working directly with the people who experience and depend on the systems we create. I have seen this from vastly different vantage points—from large-scale corporate transformation to the grassroots energy of my community grant, Spark of Joy NYC, my climate and community impact-focused ventures at The Unbelievable Company in Zimbabwe, and years of dedicated volunteer work.

These diverse environments have shown me that sustainable, lasting change requires both strategic structure and genuine human connection. It is the intersection of these two perspectives—how organizations operate and how people actually experience them—that shapes my approach to transformation today.

As Principal of Tawengwa Advisors, I bring these worlds together to help corporations and nonprofits navigate strategic planning, organizational development, and complex change. I connect leadership, technology, data, and organizational transformation so organizations can clearly understand what is happening, measure what matters, and make progress visible.

I also bring this exact ethos to Symbiotic, an AI-powered impact procurement platform I co-founded to channel transactional value back into community-led initiatives. Backed by an M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University, sustainability and human dignity remain the common threads across every system I build and every initiative I lead.

If your organization is navigating a complex transition or looking to align operations with real, human-centered impact, let's talk.

When to Bring Me In

When you know something needs to change — but can't yet see the clearest path forward.

Organizations rarely struggle because they lack effort. More often, the data is fragmented, the systems aren't working together, leadership capacity is stretched, or the connection between strategy and execution has been lost.

I step in to help you understand what is happening, measure what matters, and turn insight into action.

01

You have data, but not visibility

How it shows up

Information lives across systems, spreadsheets, teams, and reports. Leaders have plenty of data but struggle to see the full picture.

What it costs

Decisions become reactive. Problems are identified late. Teams spend time assembling information instead of acting on it.

What changes

I connect data, performance measures, and leadership priorities so you can see what is happening — and make better decisions about what comes next.

02

Your strategy isn't translating into execution

How it shows up

The strategy is clear at the leadership level, but priorities become fragmented as they move through teams, systems, and day-to-day operations.

What it costs

Initiatives stall. Accountability becomes unclear. Resources are consumed without a clear view of progress.

What changes

I translate strategy into measurable priorities, operating structures, governance, and coordinated execution.

03

You've invested in technology, but can't prove the value

How it shows up

A new system, platform, or digital initiative has been implemented — but adoption, integration, data quality, or business impact remains uncertain.

What it costs

Technology becomes an expense rather than an organizational capability. Teams create workarounds, data becomes fragmented, and expected value remains difficult to demonstrate.

What changes

I connect technology, people, processes, adoption, and measurement so your investment produces usable and measurable capability.

04

You're doing the work, but can't demonstrate the impact

How it shows up

Your teams are delivering programs, serving customers, advancing strategic priorities, or creating social impact — but success is difficult to quantify or communicate.

What it costs

Leaders can't clearly distinguish activity from outcomes. Stakeholders see effort, but not always the value being created.

What changes

I establish practical measures of performance, outcomes, adoption, and impact — giving leaders and stakeholders a clearer picture of progress.

05

Change is moving faster than the organization can absorb

How it shows up

A restructuring, leadership transition, transformation, merger, technology implementation, or period of rapid growth is putting pressure on people and operating systems.

What it costs

Decision-making slows. Teams become stretched. Institutional knowledge is at risk. Change fatigue begins to undermine execution.

What changes

I provide the leadership, coordination, change capability, and operating discipline needed to move through complexity while keeping people at the center.

How I Work

The engagement model follows the work.

Some organizations need a focused intervention. Others need an experienced leader embedded alongside the team. Complex transformations may require sustained leadership across strategy, technology, operations, and change.

I bring the right level of leadership and expertise to the problem — without forcing the organization into a predetermined model.

01

Strategic Advisory

For leaders who need clarity, diagnosis, measurement, or a path forward.

02

Focused Engagement

For a defined organizational, technology, analytics, or transformation challenge.

03

Embedded Leadership

For organizations that need experienced leadership capacity inside the operation — including fractional, interim, or transformation leadership.

04

Transformation Leadership

For complex initiatives requiring sustained coordination across people, process, technology, data, and execution.

The goal is not to create dependency. It is to leave the organization stronger than I found it.
